Swoon is a rapidly growing consumer products company dedicated to reducing sugar while keeping life sweet! Our co-founder, Jen, is a Type 1 diabetic, which makes our mission personal. Recognizing the limited options for sugar-free drinks that actually taste good, we set out to create a solution. Swoon is on a mission to eliminate 275M+ grams of sugar this year while delivering 100% tasty, zero-sugar Lemonade and Iced Teas!
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Swoon is seeking Brand Ambassadors that have experience executing events & demos and driving sales in Grocery/ Retail locations. The ideal candidate will excel if they are passionate about representing our brand mission, have a positive attitude, love building connections and possess strong communication skills. This person is goal-oriented and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role will report to the Field Marketing Lead in their Region.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute 3 hour in-store demo samplings at major retailers and events
- Partner with Field Marketing Lead to activate community events, guerilla samplings and product drops
- Enhance brand awareness, drive company growth, and increase sales by educating consumers on products during sampling activations
- Engage and educate consumers on Swoon: our taste, quality, and ingredients, our mission, and brand voice
- Reporting: Will use Repsly to sign in and out, report data, consumer trends, feedback, and insights
- Help with set up and break down of event activation with field assets and marketing materials
- Opportunity to accompany distributor sales representatives as needed and participate in out-of-market sales blitzes
FINANCIAL & ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS:
- Timely submission of weekly invoicing and reporting
- Manage assigned demo requests and bookings with Brand Ambassadors
- Train with Field Marketing Lead and join virtual monthly meetings to connect with Marketing Director and BA Team
WAYS TO STAND OUT IN THE CROWD:
- 1-2+ years of relevant field marketing experience, ideally in a CPG, health, or wellness startup environment.
- Reside in or near the market location ( Areas of hire: NY, Manhattan, CT, Boston)
- Own a car and possess a valid driver’s license depending on region
- Comfortable with lifting cases- up to 20 pounds at a time
- Passionate, self-motivated, creative, and responsible.
- Proactive communicator and excellent problem solver.
- Reliable- must give at least 4 days notice to call out unless it is an emergency
- Enjoys face-to-face interactions with customers and is recognized as an expert in converting product sampling into sales.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Ability to learn new information quickly, speak informatively, and effectively promote products.
- Willingness to travel.
- Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and evenings.

- Salary- $25/ hour + .67/mi mileage
